FELTED TWEED YARN

Felted Tweed offers an exciting alternative to traditional DK weight yarn. Soft Merino wool (50%) is blended with Alpaca (25%) with Viscose/rayon (25%) is added to complete the softness with strength. The wonderful qualities of the Felted Tweed can be best appreciated in the final knitted piece which carries a flat and cloth like definition to the stitch while maintaining it’s knitted character. The contrasting nebs sharpen the natural shades. We tempt you to select one of the many shades which have nature’s colours as their inspiration. While the yarn may have the word "felted" in its description, it is anything but a felted yarn.
